Alumnae Share Perspectives at Roundtable
Many of SEAS’s first women students joined alumnae from succeeding
decades at a special reception hosted by Gloria Reinish’45,’48,’74,
center front. The event was the first of its kind for Reunion weekend
and provided a forum for Columbia’s women engineers to talk
about their work and the challenges of being a woman in the workplace.
The path each woman took to reach her present position was different
and represented the spectrum of options now more available to women
than in previous years.
