Camp Columbia: Call of the Wild
Scores of Columbia Engineering alumni, many of whom were alumni
of Camp Columbia programs, gathered at the new Connecticut state
parklands that were formerly owned by Columbia University and, until
1964, the site of required classes “in the field” for
all students.
The Columbia Engineering School Alumni Association provided a subsidy
for the event, which was organized by Ted Borri ’51, Leo Cirino
’55, and Guy Longobardo ’49, ’50, ’62.
Horseshoes, golf, eating and just relaxing were the order of the
day.
