The 4/2 Master of Science Program: About Applying

Columbia landmark: Alma Mater Students who have completed 4 years of undergraduate study at one of the institutions affiliated with Columbia University through the Combined Plan Program may apply for admission to a Master's Program at The Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science. Students will be required to spend two years completing the degree to fulfill undergraduate engineering prerequisites before starting graduate work.

Applications are reviewed by faculty at The Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science. A completed application will include two official transcripts, three letters of recommendation, and official GRE Scores. Applicants to the Computer Science department must also submit a GRE Subject test in Computer Science or a Math, Physics or Engineering for Mathematic Uses Subject Test if their background is not in Computer Science.
