Current Student DEI Resources

Undergraduate Students

In addition to the support and resources provided to Engineering students through our office, Undergraduate Student Life works to foster a welcoming and inclusive community by supporting undergraduate students in the development of skills and awareness of self and others required to responsibly engage, serve and lead at Columbia, in New York City and beyond. Through strong collaborations with students, Multicultural Affairs oversees affinity groups, organizational advising, heritage months, community programming — and so much more.

Graduate Students

The collaborative efforts of Engineering Student Affairs, University Life, and Engineering DEI support the success of our engineering graduate students. The Engineering Graduate Student Council (EGSC) empowers these students to serve as representatives to administrators and faculty by championing the needs of, fostering community for, and advocating on behalf of the diversity that exists across the spectrum of graduate education.
