Deema received her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University, and her Masters from Columbia Engineering, focusing on tissue engineering, medical devices and entrepreneurship.
As the Industry Relations Manager at Columbia Engineering, she fosters strategic partnerships across various sectors including biotechnology and climate. Deema also spearheads the Columbia Startup Fellows program, facilitating lab co-location for hard-tech startups in the city.
