PhD Student Carolyn Kim Wins NDSEG Fellowship Award

Carolyn Kim, a biomedical engineering PhD student working with Prof. Barclay Morrison in his Neurotrauma and Repair Laboratory, has won a 2020 National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate (NDSEG) Fellowship Award. This fellowship has been awarded to Kim, who is internal vice president of the Graduate Organization of Biomedical Engineers, in recognition of her academic excellence in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math achievements, from more than 4176 applications that were received this year. The NDSEG Fellowship Program is sponsored by the Air Force Office of Scientific Research, the Army Research Office, and the Office of Naval Research under the Office of the Under Secretary for Research and Engineering.
