In this inaugural session of the Real Estate AI and Analytics Webinar Series, we will visit with Columbia University Professor Ali Hirsa, Executive Director of the Center for AI in Business Analytics and FinTech, and discuss the importance of data and data processing.  While many companies may want to jump to “an AI-based analytical tool” without developing proper data strategies, Prof. Hirsa will discuss some approaches to data processing that will lead to successful AI frameworks. In his over 25 years as a quant on Wall St. and as the Head of Quantitative Strategy at hedge funds, Prof. Hirsa has learned valuable lessons about working with data and analytics and will be sharing some of these lessons that can be tremendously useful for real estate companies.
