Mr. Eric Poirier is the CEO of Addepar, an investment management technology company that offers an integrated financial software that addresses the lack of a unified data platform and language within the financial service industry. Addepar serves single and multi-family offices, wealth advisors, large financial institutions, endowments, foundations, as well as fund and fund administrators. Addepar’s platform aggregates investment data from nearly any source, translating the different investments into a unified language, and presenting them to the client in one seamless interface. Addepar was founded in 2009 by Joe Lonsdale, the founding partner of 8VC and Formation 8. Addepar headquarters are based in Mountain View, California. It also has offices in New York City, Salt Lake City, and Chicago.

Before joining Addepar in 2013, Eric spent seven years with Palantir Technologies as a director where he created tools that enabled organizations to reconcile large, disparate datasets. Palantir is a private American software and services company which specializes in big data analysis and was co-founded by Peter Thiel of PayPal Holdings, Inc. Eric began his career working at Lehman Brothers, Inc.’s Fixed Income Analytics group, where he modeled, simulated, and visualized data across a broad range of debt and credit instruments. Eric Poirier received a BS in Computer Science from Columbia Engineering in 2004.
