Columbia Homecoming 2024

Connect with fellow alumni, students, and friends on October 25-26 for engaging events on and off campus. Excited for football? On Saturday, head uptown to Baker Athletic Complex for a tailgate-style lunch before cheering on the Columbia Lions against Dartmouth’s Big Green. After the game, join your fellow engineering alumni at the boathouse for our traditional Engineering Boathouse Reception hosted by with the Columbia Engineering Alumni Association and Columbia Engineering Young Alumni. It’s going to be a fun weekend, so register now!

Friday, October 25

Young Alumni Party
Time: 8 - 10 p.m.
Location: The DL, 95 Delancey St
The Classes of 2015–24 are invited to a memorable night downtown. Drink, dance and catch up with friends in a sophisticated nightclub atmosphere. Hors d'oeuvres, beer and wine will be served. Full cash bar available.
This event is available to alumni who are graduates from the last 10 graduating classes.

Saturday, October 26

Homecoming Tailgate
Time: 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Location: Baker Field
Spend the afternoon with classmates and enjoy a tailgate-style lunch that includes finger foods, desserts and a cash bar. Bring your family and friends, reminisce about your Columbia experience and enjoy this autumn tradition. Test your skills at cornhole, giant Jenga, and other family-friendly games all while listening to our DJ play your favorite hits. Enjoy food and drinks and don't forget to grab some Columbia swag, including our traditional Engineering Scarves! This event is family friendly!
Cash bar will be open until 1:30 p.m. and lunch service will be open until 2:00 p.m., or while supplies last. Registration Required
Football: Columbia vs. Dartmouth
Time: 1:30 p.m. kickoff
Location: Robert K. Kraft Field, Baker Athletics Complex, 533 W. 218th St.
Cheer on the Lions as they take on Dartmouth!
Football game tickets are included in Homecoming Tailgate registration. If you are not attending the Homecoming Lunch and only want to attend the football game, you must purchase separate tickets HERE.
All Columbia Athletic events are free for students with a valid Columbia University or Barnard College ID! Columbia students will use their IDs to swipe into football home games and do not need a physical ticket.
Wallach Art Gallery Tour: Shifting Shorelines: Art, Industry, and Ecology along the Hudson River
Time: 2:00 p.m. (Tour begins)
Location: Wallach Art Gallery, Lenfest Center for the Arts
Get an exclusive look at the Shifting Shorelines exhibition, which brings together historic and contemporary art, visual culture, and environmental science to engage the history of human existence, commerce, and industry along the Hudson estuary. Pre-registration is required for the guided tour, this is separate from Homecoming Lunch registration.

Boathouse Reception with CEAA and CEYA
Time: 4 - 6 p.m.
Location: Gould-Remmer Boathouse, Baker Athletics Complex
Join Columbia Engineering at the alumni-hosted homecoming celebration after the game. Enjoy food, refreshments, and mingle with your fellow alumni!
Please note this event is for guests 21+ with a valid government ID. Registration required.
