Engineers at Ground Zero Film Screening & Reception

5:00 PM - 8:00 PM
In-Person

Join us for an exclusive film screening of Engineers at Ground Zero followed by a Q&A and drinks reception on Monday, February 17from 5 - 8pm.

The documentary features interviews with leading engineers across New York City who played a critical role in the World Trade Center recovery efforts at Ground Zero. Held as part of National Engineers Week, this event honors the unsung bravery, resilience and innovation of these “second responders” in the wake of the tragic events of 9/11.

James Feuerborn, Managing Principal at Thornton Tomasetti and CEEM alumnus, will join Professor Raimondo Betti after the screening to talk about the lifesaving work of these engineers as well as his own personal experience working at Ground Zero.

A reception in the Civil Engineering and Engineering Mechanics Department will conclude the evening, giving guests the opportunity to have some drinks and nibbles, and connect with alumni, faculty and students across the Engineering School. Everyone is welcome!
