Alex "A.J." Vervoort
Senior Associate Director of Alumni Relations
A.J. Vervoort is the Senior Associate Director of Alumni Relations and Executive Secretary to the Columbia Engineering Alumni Association (CEAA) at Columbia Engineering.
In that role, A.J. manages the CEAA and Columbia Engineering Young Alumni (CEYA) board. He also fundraises for the School and manages reunion committee volunteers.
A.J. proudly joined the Columbia community in 2015, and has since held various roles at Columbia Business School and Columbia Engineering. He is also a doctoral student in Higher and Postsecondary Education at Teachers College. A.J. earned his MSEd in Higher Education from the University of Pennsylvania and BS in Business from Stockton University. A.J. also serves on the Monmouth Regional High School Board of Education, representing his hometown of Shrewsbury Twp., NJ.
