Ben Laviana
Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions
Ben Laviana serves as the Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions at Columbia University's Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science.
In this role, Ben manages application processing, collaborates with Engineering faculty to review and provide application recommendations, and establishes and implements operational workflow improvements. He provides technical expertise and support in maintaining and improving processes with the student information system and key ancillary support systems. Ben joined Columbia Engineering in 2021. He is currently pursuing his Master of Arts in Higher and Post Secondary Education at Teachers College, Columbia University.
