Blair Dayton

Career Placement Officer

Blair Dayton has worked in higher education for 15 years, primarily focused on career development and counseling, employer relations, and program management.

She is skilled and committed to: fostering relationships between students and employers, enhancing student engagement and effective programming, advising students in core areas of career development and connecting students to employment opportunities that meet their professional goals. 

She truly values the relationships she builds and is passionate about student success. 

Blair supports MS and PhD students within the Biomedical Engineering department. She is also supporting the inaugural cohort of MSAI students in Biomedical Engineering, Health and Medicine and Arts, Creativity, and Media.

Blair earned her MSEd in Student Affairs and College Counseling at Monmouth University, and her BA in Communication Studies at the University of Rhode Island.

Fun facts: Blair dabbles in stand-up comedy and is a member of the American Poolplayers Association (informally known as “pool league”). She also serves as an executive board member in a community organization on the upper east side, and chairs multiple committees including Digital Media; Events; and Impact of Technology.
