Eric Vieira

Director of Strategic Collaborations

Eric serves as the Director of Strategic Collaborations at Columbia University's School of Engineering and Applied Science, where he leads efforts to establish and maintain key partnerships across industry, foundations, government, and other sectors.

With over 20 years of experience in research administration, program management, and technology & business development across various environments, Eric has a diverse background, including roles at CUNY, Mount Sinai School of Medicine, and the New York Academy of Sciences, as well as in the financial industry as a biopharma analyst.He holds a B.A. in molecular biology and biochemistry from Rutgers University, where he was a member of the Cap & Skull Senior Honor Society, and a Ph.D. in developmental genetics from New York University. Outside of work, Eric enjoys reading, cooking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends on the Jersey Shore.
