Janine Maslov

Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions

Janine is an Assistant Director overseeing the financial and operational aspects of the Office of Graduate Admissions at Columbia University.

In this role, she leads the execution of strategic initiatives within admissions operations to meet institutional enrollment objectives. Janine serves as a key liaison for admissions staff and stakeholders across the college, providing expert support in utilizing Technolutions Slate CRM and other admissions-related technologies.

Before joining Columbia University, Janine held the position of Director of International Student and Scholar Services at Rutgers-Newark. During her tenure, she served as the Principal Designated School Official (PDSO) and Responsible Officer (RO), demonstrating her expertise in managing international student affairs and regulatory compliance.

Janine received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Rutgers University and is pursuing a Master's degree in Public Administration with a concentration in Management and Innovation from Columbia's School of International and Public Affairs, with an anticipated graduation in Summer 2024.  

Janine has been a valuable member of the Columbia community since 2018, contributing her skills and insights to the School of Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS). With over 20 years of experience in higher education, Janine continues to drive significant advancements in the field of higher education administration through her leadership and academic endeavors.
