Niharika Pathak
Finance and Grants Analyst
Niharika Pathak works with the Computer Science Department at Columbia University’s School of Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS), where her role brings together data analysis, financial management, and research support.
She works closely with faculty, research, grants, and finance teams to support research portfolios, improve processes, and ensure effective financial and operational management.
Prior to joining Columbia, Niharika worked at Rutgers University, where she supported research and grant-funded programs, managed financial and operational activities, and collaborated with faculty, students, and research teams. Her experience spans healthcare, research administration, data analysis, and process improvement.
Niharika is a dentist and holds a Doctorate in Health Informatics from Rutgers University, as well as a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration. Her research interests include artificial intelligence in healthcare, clinical decision support systems, data analytics, and dental informatics.
Outside of work, Niharika enjoys traveling, photography, supporting animal rescue efforts, and exploring new experiences.
