Ryan Day is the Director of Professional Development and Leadership & Graduate Career Placement for Columbia Engineering.
Ryan oversees the strategy, administration, and execution of the Professional Development & Leadership (PDL) and Graduate Career Placement (GCP) programs. He leads all career placement activities for the MS and PhD student populations, including fostering strategic employer partnerships, developing data-drive reports processes for career placement analysis, and managing the Graduate Career Placement Team and Career Placement Officers.
Ryan earned his bachelor's degree at The University of Tampa and his master's degree in Higher Education Administration at The University of South Carolina. He understands that each student has an individual career path, and his goal is to help Columbia Engineering students realize and leverage their unique talents to maximize their career potential.
