Asheet is a seasoned, deeply operational financial services leader, board director, and former McKinsey Senior Partner with more than 30 years of experience partnering with global financial institutions, scaling businesses, and guiding CEOs through strategy, transformation, and risk management. He brings a rare combination of deep industry expertise, broad functional breadth, and experience operating at the intersection of financial services, technology, and shifting global regulatory environments.
He is the founder and CEO of Resfi.ai, an innovative, customercentric financial services company that automatically delivers and implements financial advice to consumers on their day-to-day cash management and borrowing needs. Resfi.ai leverages AI and behavioral finance to help consumers reduce interest costs, accelerate debt payoff, and move onto a sustainable pathway toward savings and long-term financial health.
Concurrently, Asheet serves on the board and Risk Committees of Pagaya Technologies (NASDAQ: PGY) and Piramal Finance and is a Senior Partner Emeritus of McKinsey & Company. He is also a senior advisor to Avantos.ai, Bright Money, MoneySatNav, and NetXD.
During his more than two-decade career at McKinsey, Asheet co-led the Global Financial Services practice, served on the Board of McKinsey, and was the Chief Transformation Officer for North America. His client work spanned global banks, exchanges, insurers, asset managers, payments companies, and fintechs - from the largest multinational institutions to regional leaders. He partnered with CEOs and boards on strategy, technology modernization, performance transformation, growth, marketing, innovation, organizational change, and risk and regulatory management.
Asheet also serves on the Board of the Asia Society, where he chairs the Audit and Risk committee, and on the Board of Visitors of Columbia University’s School of Engineering and Applied Science, where he chairs the Finance Committee. He previously served as President and a board member of Partnership with Children.
Asheet holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where he graduated with high honors with a specialization in Finance and a concentration in Production Management. He has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University’s School of Engineering and Applied Science.
