Gerry’s career has focused on the technology and media industries, as a General Partner at Crispin Capital, a Senior Vice President at Yahoo!, and a Partner at Booz Allen & Hamilton. He started his career as an engineer at Hewlett Packard, and spent a number of years working in Asia. He speaks Japanese.

Gerry holds a BS in electrical engineering from Columbia University and an MBA from Harvard University. He serves on the Columbia Engineering Board of Visitors and co-chairs the Columbia Engineering Parents Council. He previously served as the board chair of Crystal Springs Uplands School.
