Sean Wiggins
Executive Director of CVN
As the Executive Director of Columbia Video Network (CVN), Sean guides the CVN team to serve the Columbia Engineering community by curating and ensuring the quality of remote curricular offerings, advancing the technological capabilities of Engineering teaching spaces, and driving innovative pedagogical practice to transform teaching and learning from in-person to hybrid and remote modalities.
Following a decade of supporting teaching innovation and faculty development at Columbia Business School’s Samberg Institute for Teaching Excellence, Sean is an advocate for human-centered instructional design and mindful application of technological opportunities, both in intimate classes and at scale.
In his role at CVN, Sean also works with industry and academic partners to develop and deliver custom academic programs to address gaps associated with novel technologies in workforce development and executive education.
Sean joined Columbia University in 2012.
