William Yandolino

Executive Director of Operations Finance

Will began his career at Columbia in 1982 when he was hired as the Manager of Bank Reconciliations in the Office of the Treasurer and Controller.

Shortly thereafter he was promoted to Manager of General Accounting and in 1985 he promoted to the Chief Accountant of Columbia University. Will next moved on to the Graduate School of Business where he was the Director of Financial Planning and was responsible for all Budget, Accounting and Financial Reporting functions for the Business School. In 2002, Will was recruited by CUIMC Dean’s Office as the CUIMC Business Officer where he was responsible for all accounting and financial reporting functions for the CUIMC Campus. He also assisted with the preparation of the CUIMC Budget. 

After serving for 6 years in the CUIMC Dean’s Office he moved on to the Department of Neurology as the Associate Director for Finance. Will joined the SEAS family in 2012 as the Director of Budget and Financial Planning and was  promoted to Executive Director Operations Finance in 2018. 

Will’s primary responsibilities is to manage all accounting functions related to the fiscal operations of the school; he oversees and acts as liaison for all SEAS departments and centers relating to financial matters with the Central University finance offices. He is responsible for the integrity of SEAS financial transactions ensuring compliance with University policies and procedures; Will develops and executes internal control protocols, financial policy and procedures for academic and administrative departments; he prepare reports and analyzes data extracted from the University financial system and other sources; he provides guidance and assistance for SEAS Internal and External Audits. Will enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 children, playing sports and growing vegetables and fruits.
