Class of 1972: Innovate or Deteriorate: What's in our Future?
Attend a panel on the future of climate change, medical advancements and democracy. CC’72 experts in these fields will touch on the reality that we have created — both positive and negative — and what it could mean for future generations. Speakers include Michael Gerrard, the Andrew Sabin Professor of Professional Practice at the Law School, and Dr. Paul S. Appelbaum, the Elizabeth K. Dollard Professor of Psychiatry, Medicine and Law, and director, Division of Law, Ethics and Psychiatry, at the Columbia University Irving Medical Center.

Return to the classroom with old friends to share stories on how Columbia has impacted your life since graduation. Everyone is welcome to share reflections!

Engineering Class of 1972 & Golden Lions Dinner
Engineering Class of 1972 joins the Golden Lions on campus for a special celebratory dinner with a champagne toast welcoming the newest members to the Society. Members of the Classes of 1970 and 1971 are invited to join this celebration.

Join classmates for a casual, buffet lunch at Faculty House, followed by a panel discussion.

Class of 1972: The Next Act – 50 Years Later
Do you wonder what the next chapter of your life will look like? Several classmates will share their stories on  “What comes next?” From starting a business, to dabbling in local politics, to retiring and traveling the world, there are endless ways to keep “the second act” exciting.

6:30 p.m. 
Class of 1972: Reception and Dinner
Celebrate your 50th reunion! Enjoy a cocktail reception followed by a seated dinner and remarks from Hon. Gerard Lynch CC’72, LAW’75, the Paul J. Kellner Professor Emeritus of Law at the Law School and a judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit. Please arrive by 6:30 p.m. to join your class photo.
